see the 21 Chibok Girls That have been Rescued

The federal government of Nigeria have confirmed the release 21 Chibok girls , and that is a big progress in Nigeria.

The above statement was released by the special assistant to the president (Media and Publicity) "Garba Shehu" 

 

 He said that the 21 released chibok girls are still under the custody of the Department of State Service (DSS). Malam LAWAL Daura whom is the the director general of Department of State Service (DSS) just informed President Muhammadu Buhari some hours ago about the release.

How the Chibok girls were released is not yet very clear but it was said that it is a negotiation between the Boko Haram and the International Red Cross and the Swiss government.

The released Chibok girls have been kept under the custody of the DSS so that they will have some rest before they will be handed over to the Vice President "Proffessor Osibanjo"

The Nigerian military is currently carrying a large-scale operation in the Sambisa forest, Boko Haram’s stronghold.
