The African Star Wizkid Ayo to go to Jail for Missing a Concert in Uganda

The Nigerian star Wizkid Ayo to go to jail for cancelling a music concert that he is supposed to attend at Uganda which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 3 at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.

according to the organizers, they said that over 25,000 people from Uganda have paid for ticket in anticipation to see the Nigerian Star (Wizkid) who is to fly from USA to Uganda.

Face TV, the organizer of the concert which held on Saturday, December 3 at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala, said in court documents that between 29th August 2016 and 29th November 2016 it paid Mr. Sunday Are, Wizkid’s manager the full performance fee of US$60,000, a brokerage fee of US$5,000 and US$3,000 being per diem for the days they were going to stay in Uganda.

However, it was said that the reason why Wizkid Ayo was unable to attend the program at Lugugu Cricket was because an unavoidable circumstance came up.

 

Some people said that Star (Wizkid) is still sorting things out with the organizers.
