Mikel Obi shines as Nigeria Floggs Algeria 3 - 1

The Clash between Nigeria and Algeria sounds as a note of warning to the other group members of Nigeria as Nigeria is placed on top of their group with 4 points ahead of second placed Cameroon, haven gained victory over the desert wolves of Algeria with 3 - 1

Nigeria started the first half of the match with in form forwards like Kelechi Iheanacho of Manchester city, Alex Iwobi of Arsenal and the speed master, Moses of Chelsea.

Nigeria started the match with confidence and ball control as Algeria looked a bit shaky. The Nigerian captain John Mikel Obi who is also a Chelsea midfielder also performed exceptionally as he catches a pass in front of the keeper which appeared one on one with the goal keeper and finally placed it into the net. John Mikel performance showed that Nigeria will be going far in the 2018 world Cup. He showed his ability though he have not played for Chelsea FC since the beginning of this season.

The Chelsea forward; Moses also disturbed and troubled the Algerian defense with his pace and tricky as he dashes along side with the ball with great ball control, he finally showed his ability also by scoring in the match.

shortly after 40 minutes Nigeria also got another goal which was deflected by Algerian defender.

Mikel Obi also score one on one against Algeria.

In the begining of the Second Half the Algerans became more active and motivated eager to score but the relentless Nigerian players still controls the match.

The Algerians later got a breakthrough in the 67th minute as Bentalab collected a pass close to the Nigerian box, and with little pressure from the Nigerian defence, fired in a left footed strike that left Akpeyi helpless.

The Chelsea Moses finally shot up the desert wolves as he scored his second goal of the evening in added minutes to effectively end the contest.
