Olamide have been nominated for 2016 MTV Europe award despite the fact that he sings mostly in Yoruba

The Shakitibobo master "Olamide" have been nominated for 2016 MTV Europe Music award

Olamide as we know is one of the best Afro-Pop star in Nigerian music.

The YBNL boss "Olamide" is really talented because it is not easy for an artist that sings mostly in Yoruba to make it to 2016 MTV Europe Award but nevertheless singing in Yoruba did not make him not to be in the same level with Wizkid, Alikiba and many other Nigerian musicians that sings in English, that shoes that he is great.

 

People will say that Phyno who also sings in mostly Igbo language is also his best friend in the music industry.

However, he have been nominated for the best African Act, he reached the level that some superstars that have been singing before him have not reached but he  reached that level within few years. and he stands out with artists like Black Coffee, Wizkid, Alikiba and Cassper Nyovest.

Some people also say that he sings the style of the late artist "Dagrin" but he had made it known that it is not true.
