The Nigerian new set of vibrant young Nigerian players appeared in the CAF award for 2016.
This list includes the vibrant Manchester City Man who is well known for his goal experience, who also contributed greatly in derby defeat by Mancity against Manchester United in Old Trafford by scoring one goal and one assist which concluded 2 - 1. He is now Nigerian super Eagle main striker. He also scored in the world cup qualifier match by dribbling and scoring the keeper. And this is his first appearance in the CAF award. He became popular after performing very well in Nigerian Super Eagles under 17 and under 21 world cup.
Ahmed Musa also appeared in the list. he also performs well in the Super Eagles. he has also shone at Russian champions, CSKA Moscow before his big-money move to Leicester City.
The next person that appeared is the Super Eagles Captain John Mikel Obi who is well known for his midfield role both in his Country and in his club; playing defensive midfielder in his club and also playing attacking midfielder ie no 10 role in his country (Super Eagle). He has also appeared on different occasions for the nomination.
