Earthquake Hits Tanzania and part of Kenya Uganda and Rwanda and kills 13 People
13 people have been confirmed dead as earthquake hit Tanzania following a 5.7 magnitude earthquake near Bukoba, yesterday (Sept. 10) a town in northern Tanzania. In addition, more than two hundred people are said to be injured as the quake’s intensity affected parts of Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda
Most of the injuries and deaths caused by the earthquake were due to building collapse authorities confirming that all fatalities were people in brick structures
The US Geographic Survey, which records earthquakes globally, described the earthquake as having a magnitude of 5.9 and a depth of 40 kilometers.
