HOW TO REMOVE AUTORUN AND RECYCLER VIRUS USING CMD (Command Prompt)
THIS IS A VERY GOOD METHOD OF REMOVING VIRUS
especially situations where you will plug a flash to your system and you will not see any file in the flash drive or memory card you dont have to fear the flash is infected by virus(e.g recycler) that is why the file is hidden so you can recover those files. It often changes the entire storage or folders to shortcut or 1kbSTEPS ON HOW TO REMOVE OR RECOVER FILES HIDDEN BY ANTI VIRUS
- Make sure you have a strong anti virus
- Plug the Flash Drive
- Go to your search and search for cmd
- Strike "enter button on your system"
- Type the name of your storage device in cmd(eg. g, h,f etc) and strike "ENTER"
- Type the following command "attrib -s -h -r D:/*.* /s /d" and strike "ENTER" NOTE you can change the RED "D:" to the name of the device you want to remove the virus from (eg. g, h, f etc)
OR
hold down windows key and press r button and paste the code in green background in your run and strike "ENTER" Remember to choose the drive you want to remove virus from by changing the red "D" to the letter associated with your drive
Identify and delete Virus
Locate and identify the virus and delete them. Actually virus can exist in many forms like Autorun.inf, Newfolder.exe, RAVMON.exe, New-folder.exe, SVChoste.exe etc. In the command prompt again type the drive letter (for example J) followed by colon (J:) and press enter Then type
“dir /w/o/a/p” (without quotes)
This will list all the files present in that drive, if you find any of the files listed above then just delete them by typing “del” followed by full name of the file and an “attrib” command. For example if it is an autorun.inf then, use
“attrib -s -h -r autorun.inf” .(without double quotes) press Enter and then type
“del autorun.inf”
In case if it is a shortcut virus i.e. all files have become shortcuts, then you will have to use
“del *.lnk” and hit Enter.(without double quotes)
Finally type the below command and hit Enter. (without double quotes)
“attrib -s -r -h *.* /s /d /l”
Wait for some time and then open the pen drive.
In case if these doesn’t work then just use attrib -h -r -s /s /d j: \*.* and wait for some time and then open your pen drive.
Note: Don’t forget to replace the letter “J” with the drive letter for the pen drive shown on your systems
YOU ARE DONE YOUR FILES WILL BE VISIBLE

Using Command line: To solve/fix the folder's hidden or system file, the easiest way is to run a command line. You can apply this command to USB and local drive as well, need to change the drive_letter. Go to Run, type cmd and hit enter. In command prompt just type:
attrib -h -s -r -a /s /d drive_letter:\*.*
And hit enter.
Be sure you've typed the drive letter (e.g. j:,h: or D:) instead of "drive_letter" in the command line. My USB drive letter is J: and my command should looks like: Command for unhide system-hidden files on a drive All files and folders will be normal and you should be able to delete the shortcuts, created by the virus.Command line details: Here atrib=attribute, "-"=remove attribute/permits, h=hidden s=system, r=read-only, a=archive, /s=sub directory, /d=directory, drive_letter=the letter of the drive shown in windows explorer (e.g. j:,h: or D:) and *.* is called the wild card for all files. If you don't like to be a "command Ninja" then see below. USB, MicroSD, MiniSD or other Mmory Cards issue:

3. In the 3rd line give the drive letter name (Example: J or K or L etc.) instead of "drive_name"
4. Save the text file as any_name.bat
5. Double click on the any_name.bat file and it will run in the command prompt and see the hidden files/folders come back.
